Destiny 2 is the latest iteration of Bungie’s sci-fi first-person franchise. This live-service game debuted in 2017 and is still growing strong a full three years after it’s release. Bungie continues to update the game with new expansions and content. Its base game also went free-to-play last year, bringing in a lot more people.

The live-service nature of the game means that players are constantly striving for high-tier loot to increase their damage output against stronger enemies.

Some of these exotic weapons can be bought from a multitude of traders across its map. One of the most famous traders is Xur. This guide details everything you need to know about finding him in the game this week.

Where To Find Xur In Destiny 2?

Since this is the week of Christmas, Xur can be found assuming the role of Santa Claus, doling out presents to the wealthy. Xur will spawn at the Tower Hangar behind the Dead Orbit. The easiest way to reach there is to simply fast travel to this location.

Xur is famous for selling some of the most exotic weapons in all of Destiny 2. Some of the best weapons Xur has are:

  • Karnstein Armlets
  • D.A.R.C.I. Sniper Rifle
  • Sixth Coyote Chest Armor
  • Ashen Wake Titan Gauntlets

To purchase these weapons, players will need to shell out a bunch of Legendary Shards. The sniper rifle is the most expensive weapon among the bunch, costing a total of 29 Legendary Shards. All the remaining weapons can be purchased for 23 Legendary Shards each. We strongly recommend anyone to purchase these weapons should they have enough of the proper currency.

Destiny 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S. There is still no cross-play support amongst these platforms. Bungie has promised to release a patch next year that should enable these requested features. We will be uploading a lot more guides on Destiny 2, so stay tuned to The Profaned Otaku.
