In a recent retweet of Smektala, a Dying Light 2 fan asked if the game will have a new game plus in the near future. In a reply to that, Smektala said, “It’s absolutely on the table, but for now the focus is launch.”

Set 22 years after the events of Harran, Dying Light 2 is a direct sequel to 2015’s best action-horror game, Dying Light. The game is set in a fictional location called The City, one of the last large human settlements, affected by both the virus and conflict.
While Dying Light 2 is not bringing back the iconic protagonist Kyle Crane back to action. We have the new face, Aiden, haunted by his memories, set out to learn the truth—only to find himself in the center of Villedore’s faction war and conspiracies.
Unlike the first game, Dying Light 2 takes a nuanced approach to gameplay, story-telling, and open world, as it features a storyline and game world that shapes based on your actions. We have been playing the game non-stop, and it’s worthwhile.
Dying Light 2 is an action-horror game set to release next month on Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC.
