Hitman 3 recently released on January 20, 2021, to an overwhelmingly positive reception. The trilogy finale features the best collection of Hitman levels in the series and is the best place to play the previous entries in the trilogy.

Hitman 3 is also available on the Nintendo Switch, which is the series first outing for the console. The game is available via the cloud and the pricing has been questioned by many fans, as the product page says free. This article contains everything players need to know about the Nintendo Switch pricing on the Switch.

How much is Hitman 3 on Nintendo Switch

Hitman 3 has a free-to-download demo on the Switch eShop which allows access to the game for a total of three minutes. Once that is expired, players will need to purchase the game which currently sits at $59.99.

The price point looks to be particularly on the higher end for a cloud version. Nintendo Switch can’t run the game natively and thus, will require a consistent and powerful internet connection to play the game effectively. This is a perfectly acceptable condition for some but a deal-breaker for many.

Other Cloud Versions

Should fans have access to a computer and internet capable of playing 1080p 60fps video, there is an enticing option available to try. Nvidia’s Geforce Now allows players to stream their Steam library through their powerful servers.

This option is a much more enticing one as players will be able to keep the game in their Steam library, and possibly even play the game natively once they have the capable hardware. The cost of a subscription is an added price on top of the game cost but is a better option for those who are going to get a newer PC down the line.

Google Stadia is also a pretty compelling option for gamers as it allows streaming on almost any device with a screen, including mobiles. The caveat is that the game will only be available via cloud play and players can by no means play the game natively on a machine.
