Workaround

After seeing the players’ reports, the developers have shared some solutions on Twitter to fix these issues:

Potential Workaround

  • Select the “Play Outriders- DirectX11” launch option when starting the game.
  • Alternatively, force DX11 to run the game via a command line.
  • In Steam : Outriders Demo -> Manage -> Properties -> Launch option-> Write the below in the textbox without the ” “
  • “-force -dx11”

Also, if you have installed the latest NVIDIA drivers on your PC, try rolling back to the previous driver to see if it affects anything. 

Alternative Workarounds:

  • Disable Ansel
  • Disable DLSS
  • Turn off Vsync
  • Enable your FPS limiter and choose different limits to see what improvements have been made.
  • Make sure the controller configuration is supported.

Turn off Antivirus

Try Excluding the Outriders game folder in Windows Defender to see if it’s working. Here is how you can do it:

  • Click on Start
  • Go to Settings. 
  • Click on Privacy & Security.
  • Click on Windows Security.
  • Click on Virus & threat protection.
  • Under Virus & threat protection settings, Click on Manage settings.
  • Under the Exclusions, Click on “Add or remove exclusions.”
  • Click on Add an exclusion and select the Outriders Worldslayer folder.

Run Outriders Worldslayer as an Administrator

Try running Outriders Worldslayer in administrator mode. Here is how to do it:
