PlayStation 5 DualSense Controller First Hands-On Preview By Geoff Keighley

After the reveal of PlayStation 5 and many of its Exclusives at The Future of Gaming Show. Today at 9 am PT, Geoff Keighley is hosting a live stream preview of PlayStation 5 DualSense controller on The Game Awards YouTube Channel. On this live stream, Keighley will give us a hands-on preview of the PlayStation 5 DualSense Controller.

In this live stream, we may get to see the working features that are available in DualSense Controller. Some features that are revealed by Sony:

Haptic Feedback

PlayStation is changing its rumble technology with new Haptic Feedback. The controller will vibrate to replicate the touch experience. Haptic Feedback aims to improve the player immersion.

Adaptive Triggers

PS5 Controller will generate appropriate resistance in L2 and R2 triggers. The amount of resistance depends upon the action the player is performing.

Create Button

The Share Button has been changed to Create Button with newly added functionalities. This Button also has more focus on the Content Creators.

Battery life

DualSense controller comes with a large-capacity Battery. Which is heavier than PS5’s controller.

Built-in microphone

DualSence controller has a built-in mic. Which helps the player to talk with their friends without any additional headphone.

Geoff Keighley hasn’t mentioned which game he is going to play with the PS5 controller. Furthermore, it can be a small preview session on the physical qualities of the controller. Or, Keighley might show the controller’s performance with recently released PlayStation exclusives like Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us 2. There’s also the chance of him playing upcoming PlayStation 5 titles.
